Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh & Ali Abbas Zafar’s Twist To Gandhiji’s Three Monkeys Will Leave You In Splits

Trust Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh to bring a smile to our faces. The duo, which is always up to something or the other, was at it again. Joining them this time around was their Gunday director – Ali Abbas Zafar.

The trio posed like the three famous monkeys of Mahatma Gandhi against the backdrop of Mohabbatein which comprised Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan among others. Only, instead of ‘see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil’, their pose sends out a completely different message.

Ranveer Singh took to Instagram to post this hilarious picture captioning it, “Teen stambh…Parampara, Pratishtha aur Anushasan! @aliabbaszafar @arjunkapoor (sic).”

For those who are wondering what’s the connection, well, in the film (Mohabbatein) Amitabh Bachchan’s character, the stern Narayan Shankar, reveals that “parampara”, “pratishtha” and “anushasan” are the three pillars of Gurukul – the institution he heads.

Ironical, isn’t it?

On the work front, Arjun Kapoor is busy spreading the word about his upcoming film, Half Girlfriend, which features Shraddha Kapoor opposite him. The Mohit Suri-directorial hits theatres on May 19.

Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, is busy filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati which stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor besides him. While Deepika will play Rani Padmavati, Ranveer will essay the role of Allauddin Khilji and Shahid will be seen as Raja Rawal Ratan Singh.

To talk of director Ali Abbas Zafar, after the success of Sultan, he is busy with shooting Tiger Zinda Hai, the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger. The second instalment too features former couple Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Coming back to the quirky picture, Arjun and Ranveer, high time you team up for a film again.
